On Wednesday, the senior boys set off for what was to be a fantastic day of football in the Emmets blitz. They encountered some tough competition in their three matches. Team photo after a successful day in Emmets. First up they took on Kilcoole and were unlucky to fall short by 2 points. Following this, the boys dug deep to show superb character in coming back and winning their final two games. The defence were super solid with great communication and team work on show. Some fantastic scores by Des, Dylan F, Dean T and Nathan greatly helped the boys on their way. Well done Peters!!!
4th Class have been exploring, experimenting and questioning themselves all about sound. We began by brainstorming the word ‘sound’. Ideas were flowing from pitch, to how it travels, to music and instruments all the way to vibrations. The ukulele was also mentioned as we are learning the instrument, at the moment. Hence, came the idea to make music, so we put our minds to it and made our version of a guitar. Plastic containers, elastic bands, glass and water. We tested the plastic containers with the elastic bands…..straightaway the kids were making music. The sound being created by the...

Recently, the whole school learned a song and sang it together at assembly. We chose ‘I Lived’ by One Republic because the lyrics are so inspirational. It’s all about experiencing the good and the bad of life and is written by a father to his newborn son. We loved singing the song together and a special well done to our soloists – Casey, Patrick, Sophie, Toby, AJ, Kristina, Carl, Tristan, Finn, Lex, Adem, Ellie and Hayley. I lived from St Peter's, Bray on Vimeo.
