St. Peter’s had a day to remember last Wednesday when our girls team won Division 3 of the Wicklow Times Shield. On a day of very poor weather conditions, they battled through to top a tough group that included Templerainney, Greystones Educate Together and Gaelscoil Chill Mhantàin. The girls fought back from 5-2 down to force a draw against a great Templerainney side thanks to scores from midfield pair Bridget Cox and Lauren Cheevers. The game finished 5-5. On Tuesday students from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class took part in a 3 kilometer run at Avondale house. Here is some of the action. 3rd class united!!! 6th class strike a pose!!! We are delighted to be taking part in the First Lego League competition again this year.
