Hello bloggers,
St. Peter’s 5th Class were extremely lucky to be one of only 12 schools in all of Ireland to be chosen for the Explorer’s Project this year. The Explorer’s Project is aimed at helping us understand marine and sea life better. As part of the project, 5th class have been given a fish tank containing lots of sea creatures to take care of for 4 weeks and will be given a tour of Sea Life in Bray, with their resident Marine Biologist, Joanna.
To get everyone involved 5th class are running a competition for all classes to come up with the best names for our sea creatures. We have a rockling, 2 shanny fish, 6 muscles, 3 anemones, a limpet and a star fish. Good luck to everyone. We’ll keep you up to date on how our visitors are getting along and introduce you to our new friends very soon!
