It’s been a while since we put together one of our ‘In Numbers’ pieces, so we thought it was about time that we reflected on what we have been getting up to since our last one that we posted on November 5th!
In short, our blog has the following:
1. 369 blogposts, with 27,088 pageviews! Wow!
2. A whopping 1,413 comments at the time of writing!
3. 78 podcasts that have been played 1,838 times!
To add to that, our twitter has…
1. 1,758 tweets.
2. 365 followers.
In the 19 weeks since that last post, we have added to the many activities and projects that are typical of the St. Peter’s school year. Well done to all of our classes for all of their work so far this year.

6. 2nd Class are onto their 6th book of the year. Have you listened to their latest book podcast?
6. Another number 6… a 6 minute YouTube video where 5th Class interviewed the wonderful Manny Man who made a video about Irish History that went viral late last year!

9. The number of Creative Schools projects currently underway in our school!
10. The number of scientific study examples that 5th Class presented online after their STEM Electricity lesson.

28. The number of toys that we collected for our Christmas Toy Appeal. Thank you so much!
32. Do you still have your 32 teeth? 2nd Class learned a poem to remind you how to look after your teeth! I’ll bet the Mams and Dads remember this one from school!
34. The number of boys who took part in the Wicklow Cross Country event in Avondale. Check out their blog post on it here!
35. We made a 35 person human piano. Think it can’t be done? We’ll prove you wrong here!
36. The number of pipecleaners it took to make our St. Brigid’s Day Crosses!
40. Lents lasts for 40 days and 40 nights. We are trying to be very good and stick to our Lenten promises! Before we started though, we enjoyed lots and lots of yummy pancakes!
50. The Katie Taylor Tower for the K’nex competition had to be 50cm tall! See how this year’s challenge went!
60. The number of minutes we spend swimming in the Shoreline every Monday.
€129.40. The amount of money we raised for this year’s Pizza Day!
237. The number of seconds in the extract of Dr. Martin Luther King’s ‘I Have A Dream’ speech that 6th Class recorded in January.
500. Tthe maximum number of words we could use to portray friendship for the Bord Gais Energy Student Theatre Awards. It was tougher than it sounds – listen to our efforts here!
1000. Congratulations to Aaron Gray who left the 1,000th comment on the blog earlier in the term!
1994. The year Riverdance hit the big stage! This year, 2nd Class gave it a go…
2014. This year’s #antearrach project was another huge success. Don’t miss our mega run-down on events from the project here!
2,228. The number of passengers on the Titanic. 2nd Class recorded a newsbooth video about the tragedy to help them to remember facts from their History lesson!
384,400. The number of kilometres from the Earth to the Moon! 2nd Class travelled this long journey one Friday afternoon in February…
1,578,433 . The number of energy points earned by 5th and 6th class on Khan Academy and Mathletes so far. Energy points show how hard the student is working by practising exercises and watching videos so this is a huge achievement!
